Covid News Daily: December 8
There are plenty of people reporting on Covid, but few compiling it all in one place (to my knowledge). That is what I am hoping to do here. I am by no means comprehensive in what I can find nor what I find worthy of sharing. For some, this newsletter might be superfluous to the point of annoyance. For others, it might be a clean and concise place to get recent highlights on Covid news without having to sift through the news themselves. I am operating under the assumption that this is useful, but would love to know if it is not and I will switch gears back to my normal, less frequent posting. I won’t be able to post one of these every day due to health complications, but on good days I will provide any updates since the last time I posted.
Steve Kirsch Offers to Pay FDA/CDC Whistleblowers to Come Forward on Vaccine Safety
Whatever you think of the vaccines and the data on their safety profile, we should all want the facts, unfiltered. If the FDA and CDC are being cagey about the details on the prevalence of vaccine adverse events, we all would want to know that. One way for this kind of information to get out is through whistleblowers. The reputational and financial costs that whistleblowing incurs can be a huge disincentive. Financier and self-proclaimed Covid mRNA vaccine skeptic, Steve Kirsch, is offering financial recompense for whistleblowers from the FDA or CDC coming forward about information pertaining to the vaccine safety profiles.

Dr. Eric Topol Featured on Substack as Writer in Residency
Wildly unpopular Covid propagandist Eric Topol is being featured by Substack for his reporting on Covid, story here. If it’s any consolation, the announcement post got ‘ratioed’ pretty hard (just 53 likes to 1,389 comments at the time of this post), indicating the general support on Substack is against the mainstream narrative, which Topol does everything in his power to uphold.
Boris Johnson Calls for Covid Lockdowns in Face of Omicron
Boris Johnson calls for England to return to lockdowns and Covid vaccine mandates to access some parts of social life with the rise of Omicron. Bizarrely, the Covid mandates in many parts of the world are stricter than ever, despite the growing recognition that Covid is just not that deadly, and that most people have some form of immune protection to it by now. I suspect what is happening is many of these institutions (government, public health, and media alike) have a core following of Covid hystericals pushing for these strict measures, and then when they are tested or implemented on the public writ large they receive immense backlash. This since deleted Twitter poll from Good Morning Britain seems to reflect this hypothesis:
Judge to Rule on New York City Public Sector Vaccine Mandate
A New York judge will hold a hearing next Tuesday, the 14th, on whether to uphold or block the New York City vaccine mandate for public sector workers.
The lead plaintiff in the public-sector mandate case is Anthony Marciano, a police detective on the force for 10 years.
He said he has natural immunity after recovering from COVID-19 and that requiring him to get vaccinated violated his constitutional and civil rights
This ruling could set the precedent for vaccine mandates in other US cities moving forward.
Pfizer Claims Three Vaccine Doses Neutralizes Omicron
Forgive my skepticism, but I am not holding my breath that this will turn out to be true. According to a Pfizer press release, laboratory studies demonstrate three doses of Pfizer’s vaccine can neutralize the Omicron variant. It will be interesting to see how many breakthrough cases among the triple-vaxxed emerge in the coming months, and how this plays into the Pfizer narrative. Of course, now that the goalposts have shifted to the vaccine efficacy endpoint being ‘serious disease’ or ‘hospitalization’ it complicates the ability to assess the efficacy of the vaccines with a new variant, where the virus itself might be intrinsically less harmful. Perhaps the vaccines will help with Omicron, perhaps it will just be a more mild disease. Time will tell.

Haha I came here to read the comments and there weren’t any yet! It kind of feels like the world is Pfizer’s Petri dish now doesn’t it? They already have so many trial participants they can experiment on now. How about stepping back and just chilling. As some experts have said, if Omicron is mild yet contagious this could be the variant that turns Covid into a cold. But we’ll never know if they just start randomly jabbing everyone.
